DDC Office Siraha was gheraued in protest of integration of former VDC Durgapur in Dhangadi Municipality. Meanwhile, local intellects, social workers as well as political parties had suggested for the integration of Durgapur VDC to Golbazzar Municipality which is geographically accessible, but the decision was made against the recommendation. That's why hundreds of locals with the after protest rally with chantings gheraued DDC office. The protest rally was led by Bijay Kumar Singh, Central Committee member of CPN Maiost. On this regard, LDO Suresh Raut informed about the application filed in CDO on 19 and 25 January been sent to Village Council, Municipality and Federal Commission on Boundaries in Kathmandu, and himself to participate in delegation to pressurize the implementation. पूर्व गाविस दुर्गापुरलाई धनगढीमाई नगरपालिकामा समायोजन गरिएको विरोधमा बिहीबार जिल्ला विकास समितिको कार्यालय सिरहाको कार्यालयमा घेराबन्दी गरिएको थियो । गाविस दुर्गापुरलाई भौगोलिक दृष्टिले जनतालाई पायक पर्ने गोलबजार नगरपालिकामा समायोजन गरियोस भनी स्थानीय बुद्धिजिाी, समाजसेवी, राजनीतिक दलहरुको सल्लाहबिना एकल निर्णयको विरुद्धमा गाविसका सयौँको संख्यामा महिला पुरुषहरु नाराजुस गर्दै जिविसलाई घेराबन्दी गरेका थिए । उक्त विरोध जुलुस स्थानीय नेकपा माओवादी केन्दका केन्दिय सदस्य बिजय कुमार सिंह, नेकपा एमालेका क्षेत्रिय बैकल्पिक सदस्य जुगुतलाल मोचि, नेपाली काँग्रेसका जिल्ला सदस्य नन्त कुमार महतोको संयुक्त नेतृत्वमा भएको थियो । यस सम्बन्धमा जिविस कार्यालयमा आएका निवेदनलाई माघ ६ र १२ गते आएको संयुक्त निवेदन कार्यवाहीको लागि गाउँपालिका, नगरपालिका तथा विशेष संरक्षित वा स्वायत्त क्षेत्रको संख्या तथा सिमाना निर्धारण आयोग काठमाडौँ पठाइसकिएको छ र कार्यान्वयनको लागि दबाब दिन जाने डेलिगेसनमा आफु पनि सहभागि हुन सक्ने कुरा स्थानीय विकास अधिकारी सुरेश राउतले बताएका छन् ।
