Agitating Student Unions have picketed and padlocked District Education Offices and Educational Department all over the nation today. They are protesting against private schools charging exorbitant fees violating the standard fees determined by the government. They have also made the protest programs public; social boycotting of District Education Officers and delegates of Education Ministry, and strike on 1st May. According to Aarati Lama, ANNFSU Secretary, they would continue agitating until the private schools charging exorbitant fees return the money to parents. निजी विद्यालयले सरकारले तोके भन्दा बढी शुल्क लिएको विरोधमा आन्दोलनरत संयुक्त विद्यार्थी संगठनले आज देशभरका जिल्ला शिक्षा कार्यलय तथा शिक्षा विभागमा तालाबन्दी गरेका छन् । यस अघि उनीहरुले आन्दोलनका कार्यक्रम घोषणा गरिसकेको छन् । जिल्ला शिक्षा अधिकारी र शिक्षा मन्त्रालयका अधिकारीलाई सार्वजनिक वहिस्कार गर्ने योजनादेखि बैशाख १८ गते देशभरी सरकारी गाडी चल्न नदिने उनीहरुका आन्दोलनका कार्यक्रम छन् । सरकारी मापदण्ड भन्दा बढी लिएको शुल्क विद्यालयले फिर्ता दिनुपर्ने र नदिए जारी आन्दोलन नरोक्ने अखिलकी सचिव आरती लामाले बताइन । उनले भनिन ‘सरकारले जुन मापदण्ड तोकेको छ त्। यो भन्दा बढी शुल्क असुल्ने छुट सरकारले दिनुहुँदैन थियो । सरकार निजी विद्यालयका सामुन्ने निरह बनेपछि विद्यार्थी संगठन आन्दोलनमा उत्रन बाध्य भएका छौँ ।’
