Entrepreneurs of Paanini Rural Municipality are on strike because of the tax imposed by the rural municipality on them. More than 500 entrepreneurs were out on strike. Bhojraj Ghimire, President of Business Association Committee said that they imposed the tax according to their own wish. He also added that they have demanded to lower down the tax as much as possible. He also threatened that if this decision isn't taken aback, they will padlock all the ward offices of the district. अर्घाखाँची जिल्लाको पाणिनी गाउँपालिकाका व्यापारीहरु आन्दोलनमा उत्रिएका छन्। गाउँपालिकाले बढी कर तिर्न व्यापारीलाई लगाएसंगै गाउँपालिकाका करिब ५ सय व्यापारी आन्दोलित भएका हुन्। गाउँपालिकाका व्यापारीहरुलाई नीति तथा कार्यक्रम मूल्य अभिबृद्दि दर्ता तथा कर शुल्क आफ्नो मनोमर्जिद्वारा तय गरिएकोले करलाई न्युनतम करको निर्णय सार्वजनिक गर्न माग गरेको गाउँपालिकाका व्यापार संघ समितिका अध्यक्ष भोजराज घिमिरेले बताए। उनले निर्णय नसच्याएमा गाउँपालिका तथा ८ वटै वडा कार्यालयमा तालाबन्दी गर्ने चेतावनी दिए। पाणिनी-२ पोखराथोकका व्यापारी चन्द्रकान्त पौडेलले भने- गाउँ कार्यपालिकाले गरेको निर्णय मान्दैनौ, तुरुन्त सच्याउनुपर्छ। जनताको आम्दानि स्रोत हेरेर कर लिनुपर्छ।
