Auto-rickshaw operators of Birendranagarhave been agitated demanding the removal of high registration tariffs and revocation of unilateral route cancellation. Police have arrested 22 auto-rickshaw operators who were on the protest.
Five thousand Rupees have been determined by E- rickshaw Management Directory 2075 issued by Birendranagar Municipality for the registration of Auto and rikshaw. The auto-rickshaw operators protested against this. Police arrested Padam ban, chairperson of Sudhapaela Transportation along with 21 others.
There are over one thousand autos in Birendranagar. Travelers have been affected by the stop of autos.
