Ward office set ablaze

A group of unidentified people broke the office of Ward No 4 at Badrikedar Rural Municipality, Doti, and set the office ablaze on Monday. Ward chair Birendra Bahadur Kotkeni said the incident was premeditated and demanded that the guilty be booked. Rural Municipality Chair Krishna Bahadur Chand condemned the incident and said that a probe team would be formed to investigate the incident. “If anyone has disagreement, he/she should talk to people's representatives. It is wrong to torch the ward office," he added. - HNS
