A woman has beaten two Dalit boys, Samir BK and Khim Bahadur BK, both 7 years old, studying in grade 2 at Laxmi primary school in Darma rural municipality-6 Jyamire.
The woman, Janaki Basnet Pande, mother of 4-year-old Laxman Pande, also a student of the same school beat the two boys accusing them of threatening and beating her son, informed the boys' father Manohar BK.
According to the principal of the school Bhakta Bahadur Chand, the boys and the woman's son had run into a fight a few days ago. The case then settled through a meeting at school. Janaki however, came to the school on May 24 and beat the boys over the same issue. They have sustained injuries on the head, face and back from the beating.
The school administration is trying to settle the case through a meeting between both parties.
