The students of Shanker Elementary School at Kharpu Nath Rural Municipality-2 in Humla is padlocked by the students in protest of not teaching three subjects in the school.
From the last four months, the study of four subjects have been disrupted due to the absence of teachers. In the protest of absenteeism of teachers, students padlocked the schools according to one of the students Bishnu Devi Rawal.
Rawal said that the academic session started from last month and study of four subjects are severely affected after teachers are absent in the school.
Students and parents jointly padlocked the school in the protest. There are 215 students studying in the school and their are posts for 9 teachers according to Rawal.
