Police have arrested two persons involved in the robbery with weapons and bullets in the vicinity of Dharan. Area Police Office, Dharan arrested two robbers of an armed group with two pistols and 26 bullets on Wednesday Night.

15 days ago, they injured Shambhu Gachhadar, an employee of Life Development Small Finance Institute by shooting at Dharan Sub Metropolitan-5, Saune and looted cash of Rs.4 lakh and 10 Thousand. 

SP Yaginavinad Pokharel of Sunsari said that the arrested are kept at Area Police Office and further investigation is being carried on.

He said the names of those arrested are kept confidential, saying that they would interfere with the investigation. After the investigation is completed, the name of the arrestee will be disclosed in the press conference.

Locals are terrified after armed groups in Dharan started robbing gold chains on the neck of women walking in Morningwalk, and stabbing employees of banks and financial institutions.
