3 teachers working at Bhramha Primary School of Patan Municipality-10, Patan have padlocked the school indefinitely citing that they have not received salary since the past two years.
Tejraj Panta, one of the teachers of private source working at the school said he has not been paid since 2074. He alleges that the school management committee did not even implement the decision to keep private source teachers in the quota of grants, although the school management committee has decided to give relief and grant room for teachers working in private sources but was not provided he said.
They were forced to padlock the school due to injustice done to them by open vacancy announcement. The principal of the school, Tikaram Bhatt, said that the school could not pay them because they did not have financial resource.
Chairman of the School Management Committee, Devdatta Bhatt, said that the school would provide a salary to all the teachers by mid-June.
