Villagers of Masta Rural Municipality - 2 Bajhang have erected a wall on the road leading to their village after local transport operators hiked transport fare. The hiked fare was more than what was fixed by District Administration Office.
The villagers said that they are ready to pay 150 - 200 which is also the actual fare but transport operators have been charging not less than 300.
The actual seating capacity is 10/12 passengers but transport operators have started carrying double the seating capacity.
