The protest from the locals of the JIrabhawani Rural Municipality took an ugly turn on April 22 after the protesters started hurling stones at the office of the rural municipality. The police clashed with the protestors, leaving a few people, including a journalist, injured, and as many as 8 motorcycles vandalized. Earlier, the locals, on the leadership of Bikau Bhandari, went to the local municipality, to discuss the relief distribution process. The rural municipality has not distributed the relief even after a month of national lockdown.
