The Chitwan branch of the National Dalit Journalists Association drew the attention of the District Administration Office, Chitwan on Friday by lighting a lamp in protest of the incident in West Rukum.
A team from the Association reached the District Administration Office with a banner saying, " Government! Where is darkness? Here is light."
Amir Ramdas, Chairperson of Chitwan branch of the National Dalit Journalists Association, said that while informing the society through journalism, one must unite against the injustice in one's own community and urged joining hands for the sake of humanity.
