Three locals of Bhadapuruwa area of Baharaich District of India assaulted two Armed Police Force (APF) personnel guarding the southern border of Nepal in Gulariya Municipality-8 of Bardiya with India after the APF men stopped them from entering Nepal on June 13.
Some 20 Indian nationals got into the Nepalese territory with an intention to assaulting them, However, the people working in the field intervened and chased them away to India. The situation calmed after Indian SSB reached the site of the incident and promised to take action against the assaulters.
