Residents of Kakani have expressed indignation over the government saying that the government has not paid any attention towards upgrading the road from Kathmandu to Trishuli via Kakani under the Pasang Lhamu Highway.
Amidst the outrage of the locals, the Nepali Congress Kakani Village Executive Committee burned an effigy of the government in a corner assembly held in Kakani today, calling it an 'incompetent and corrupt' government.
