The Students' Union Rupendehi and a group of students studying in class 11 and 12 staged a protest against the decision of the government to take the exam in August without any preparation. The protest rally started from Pushpalal Park in Butwal and concluded a corner meeting at 'Chaudaha highway'. Speaking at a corner meeting, student coordinator Mandil Khanal said that they are protesting as there would be problems in sitting the exam as students have returned home due to COVID-19 and lockdown.
