The Janamat Party staged a demonstration at Aurahi Rural Municipality, Siraha on August 12 demanding transparency from the rural municipality. They have protested against the closed-door council to hide millions of rupees of corruption under various pretexts.
The rural municipality had formed a rural council on August 12 with the participation of limited people.
They have also picketed the council building after the rural municipality did not show the details of expenditure from the last fiscal year's budget incurred in corona prevention.
