Relatives of a prisoner of central jail who died while undergoing treatment staged a protest in front of Bir Hospital.
63-year-old Ram Lakhan Jaiswal who is imprisoned in a murder case was admitted to Bir Hospital on September 19 because of respiratory problems died on the same day while undergoing treatment in Bir Hospital.
Jailer Laxmi Prasad Banskota of the Central Jail informed that the report of the PCR test was received on Monday evening. He said the deceased had been diagnosed with carcinoma.
So far, six people died in the central jail due to coronavirus infection.
