Three Armed Police Force (APF) men were injured in a clash with a cloth smuggler at Balirampur checkpoint of Bishrampur village in Bara district on October 19. The smugglers attacked the armed police team with sticks and bamboo kilns while taking control of three large bags of cloth.
The mobilized battalion of the Armed Police Force in Kalaiya and the team from Baraniya’s (Beaurau of Prisons- BOP) were attacked. According to police, the smugglers snatched the clothes and took them back to India. A team of APF was mobilized to seize the clothes after receiving information that smugglers were smuggling clothes with a monthly amount.
