A clash broke out between police and locals of Subarna Rural Municipality 6 and 8 in Bara. The clash erupted during police intervention while confiscating goats alleging they were smuggled from India.
Locals claimed that the goats were brought from different parts of Nepal and not from India.
Two local women have been injured in the clash. During the police intervention, two local females, 30-year-old Babita Khatun and 60-year-old Lal Devi Khatun sustained injured. They were sent to Kalaiya Hospital for treatment.
