Those who passed the language test for 2017, 2018 and 2019 under the Employment Permit System (EPS) but still unable to go to South Korea have protested at the EPS branch on January 10 demanding the EPS branch under the Department of Foreign Employment to take the initiative to create an environment to allow them to go to South Korea and to not invalidate their test results that only have two years validity.
Kumar Prasad Dahal, Director General, Department of Foreign Employment said the response is delayed due to the corona's travel restriction. The lockdown had already started in Nepal while the youths on the roster were on their way after passing the language test. There are still 10,000 young people on the roster waiting to go to Korea.
