Auto and e-rickshaw drivers have demonstrated in front of the Birgunj Metropolitan Office under the leadership of Afzal Ansari, president of the Auto Rickshaw Entrepreneurs Association on January 29. They alleged the metropolis of charging high fees for e-rickshaw registration and route permit.
Meanwhile, Arabinda Gupta, a member of the Birgunj Metropolitan Executive Committee said that most of the e-rickshaw drivers are trying to drive in the urban areas of the city that has made the traffic management chaotic and it is necessary to make it systematic.
