Women picketed the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Heldung Distribution Center Humla against severe power cuts for more than 12 hours daily for three days.
They alleged that the unavailability of electricity on time has created more problems for students and the elderly. The women have warned the power office that if they do not supply on time by February 15, they will remove the poles buried on their land by submitting an application to the same office.
