A street drama performance and recitation program was organized in Surkhet demanding justice for Bhagarathi Bhatt. The program was organized by Karnali Study Center Nepal in the presence of young students in front of the gate of the Midwestern University Central Campus on February 10.
Wearing a black bandage on their foreheads, a black mask on faces and holding pamphlets they chanted slogans such as, "Hang the rapist", "Give justice to the victim", "Stop violence and sexual abuse against women" and "Maintain peace and security". In the program, more than a dozen literary creators recited their composition and raised their voices for justice. A 20-minute street story and play was performed along with the composition reading.
