ANNFSU staged a demonstration demanding immediate distribution of the scholarships which were suspended due to the closing of the University Grants Commission. About 3,340 students have been affected by the Corona pandemic due to doubled tuition fees and the suspension of fourth-year scholarships available through the University Grants Commission under the Higher Education Reform Project.
They also submitted various demand papers to the University Grants Commission at Bhaktapur, Sanothimi and staged demonstrations with various slogans such as, 'Increase investment in higher education, 'End University Grants Commission', 'Distribute suspended scholarships immediately'.
