Locals in Morang staged demonstration as the Amjungi settlement is in danger due to the operation of the crusher industry (Mahadev Mineral Industries and Shivam Crusher) in Kerabari Rural Municipality-8 of Morang.
According to a local, Jit Bahadur Basnet, two industries have carried out illegal excavations in Khadam Khola. Locals allege that Rural Municipality Chairman Karki is also a crusher operator, and he has also invested in Mahadev Minerals.
