Gita Adhikari, a 32-year-old resident of Ratnanagar-5 Magartol died in a tiger attack at Janakauli Intermediate Community Forest in the central area of Chitwan National Park on June 21. Meanwhile, outraged locals vandalized the park office at the Eastern Sector Office of Chitwan National Park in Sauraha and set fire to the furniture alleging the Park of not taking the man-eating tiger under control for hours even after the death of a person. The Chitwan National Park Office, on the other hand, said that preparations are being made to control the tiger by darting it.
