Locals picketed the district administration and district police office in Malangwa on August 20 demanding that action should be taken against those arrested on the charge of the murder of Priyanka Bhujel. They chanted slogans and further demanded an impartial investigation of the incident. 16-year-old Priyanka Bhujel of Ranijung in Lalbandi Municipality-17, who was missing since August 15, was found dead in a decaying state near Kalinjor Khola in Lalbandi Municipality-6, some three kilometres away from her house on August 18.
