Transportation entrepreneurs staged a demonstration in Kathmandu on October 4d demanding a fare hike by parking bus in the roads. The transportation entrepreneurs stated that if the price of the petroleum fuel is hiked, then the fare should also increased. The demonstrators further stated that the price of the fuel hiked from Rs.80 to Rs.113 but the transportation fare is still Rs.15, so that they had to stage a demonstration. Due to the demonstration, Chakrapath, Bhaktapur's public transportation has stopped.
