Fulmaya Pariyar, a 36-year-old woman has died after being beaten by hotelier Durga Ale on March 31 over a dispute. According to the locals, the accused beat the victim over a dispute that arose after a 7-year-old daughter of the victim drank a cold beverage from the hotel without any permission. They further added that the victim sustained several bruises on her body and her condition worsened during the following days. She was then taken to Gorkha hospital but the doctors referred her to go to Bharatpur Hospital, where she later lost her life during treatment. Locals protested before the police station on Wednesday demanding justice for the deceased. District Police has stated that they are investigating the incident.
