The locals of Simta rural municipality-3 in Surkhet, padlocked ward office on September 6 demanding resignation of ward chairperson Lok Bahadur Shahi.
The locals charged Shahi of engaging in immoral activity and demanded his resignation on the grounds of morality. Some days back, an audio record had become public, where Shahi was having un-civilized conversation with a women who happens to be his distant daughter in law. Before this, he was charged with abusing a girl from Badi community in his village.
