Maoist cadres affiliated to Biplov-led CPN M smeared black ink on the face of Bharatpur Vice-chief executive officer Narayan Prasasdh Sapkota on Sunday morning. They entered Sapkota's office and smeared black color on his face alleging that he was involved in corruption. According to district secretariat Mahesh Chaudhari, they just warned him to not be involved in any corruption cases. Sapkota was accused of embezzling tax money, funds meant for preserving culture, and during the municipality's land transactions. He has also been accused of shielding other corrupt officials. Sapkota was also accused of buying a vehicle worth 63 million while the municipality claims that dont have enough money to buy graders and for appointing his wife in the vacant post of "Nayab Subba"
