The District Administration Office in Banke has issued prohibitory order in Nepalgunj from August 23 until further notice taking into account the tensions growing due to continuous protest and demonstration. The prohibitory order will be effective in places like East Raanjha, West Nandani Mill, South Jamunah border and North Fultekra. The administration has informed that gatherings, protest and demonstrations will not be allowed in these places. During the recent bandhs, protesters had vandalized some motor-cycles in Nepalgunj. Tension had ensued after locals who came out in retaliation of the bandh clashed with the bandh enforcers. Fearing further clash between the two sides the DAO has issued prohibitory order until further notice.
