Police have arrested a youth in possession of an automatic pistol from border check-post at Madar of Siraha on Monday afternoon. According to SP Mahesh Shrestha of APF, the arrested has been identified as Mahesh Kumar Yadav (28yrs) of Rajpur-3 VDC. A team of police under the command of inspector Manoj Gurung recovered an automatic pistol with "made in the US" inscribed on it while searching Yadav's body in border outpost in Madar. They also seized two live rounds of bullets in his possession. Arrested Yadav has been handed over to the Nepal Police for further investigation. The police chief of Siraha, SP Ram Kripal Sah informed that the arrested is being charged under the possession of illegal weapons act.
