Cadres of United Democratic Madheshi Front who were imposing bandha in Kalaiya bazar of Bara have been chased away by businessmen. The businessmen retaliated against the strike and chased the protesters after they started vandalizing a clothing store. The situation of Kalaiya bazar was tense for a while after the cadres of Front were chased away. The eyewitnesses shared that the protesters were chased away till they reached Bharat chwok. The situation eased only after regional and district leaders of the Front reached the area and apologized. Kalaiya bazar remains open at the moment.
