The agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha has taken out a torch rally in Saptari district headquarters Rajbiraj on Sunday evening. The rally that kicked off from Shiva Mandir circled around the city before finally turning into a protest assembly at Jana-Andolan Chok. Meanwhile, the Sadbhawana Party, a constituent party of the Madhesi Morcha, carried out a signature collection campaign at Gajendra Chok in Rajbiraj today. The signature campaign was held to manifest the government’s apathy towards the Madhes protest that has been going on for five months now.
