The agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) has made public its fresh protest programs till February 1. A meeting held at the office of Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party in Bijulibazar, Kathmandu, on January 25 announced fresh stir programmes. Denouncing the Rangeli incident, the SLMM criticised the constitution amendment. It stated that the language of the amendment did not address their demands. The SLMM protests include lighting candles in public place in the district headquarter respecting martyrs on January 27, informing people about the recent developments and the agitation on January 30 and conducting assemblies at regional level, among others.
