Locals protest against erecting of a statue of Gurung couple

Locals have imposed shut down in bazar protesting against statue of a Gurung couple erected in Birauta chowk of Pokhara sub-metropolis-16.
The statue was unveiled by Tamodi Nepal, Pokhara in occasion of Tarhote festival. Locals share that Birauta chowk should be a common place for everyone, not just for a certain community.
