23-year-old Suresh Yadav and his second wife, 22-year-old Roma B.K, have been sentenced to one and half years in prison each in polygamy case. A single bench of justice Amrit Bahadur Basnet of District Court made the decision on May 2. 23-year-old Kari Yadav, a resident of Laxminiya VDC-6, had filed a complaint against her husband, Suresh Yadav on December 3 stating that he had married Roma BK on November 25, despite already being married to her.
