Police arrested 22 cadres of CK Raut from Kapilvastu on Saturday while they were demonstrating near the venue of the Buddhist Conference. The demonstrators were demanding the release of CK Raut and chanting slogans in favor of Independent Madhes. Meanwhile, it was reported that police also arrested 11 cadres of CK Raut from Sarlahi while they were holding a meeting. CK Raut who has been advocating in favor of Independent Madhes accused the police of arresting his cadres without any reason.
