Police has arrested Nageshwor Yadav, VDC secretary of Sundarpur and Phulaha VDC in Mahottari district on charge of corruption and embezzlement of VDC funds at different times during his tenure. According to Inspector Shambu Pokhrel, police arrested Yadav on the written order of CIAA's regional office at Hetauda. Deputy-secretary of CIAA's regional office Hetauda, Narendra Bhattarai informed that CIAA sought police's help to arrest Yadav after he ignored CIAA's notice to present himself at CIAA in connection with the complaints lodged against him.
