A special team of Armed Police Force recovered a handmade gun from Khandeswori VDC-1, Taaldare Bhakare, inside Api Nampa Conservation Area. It is suspected that the gun was taken to hunt wild animals. A team lead by Inspector Shailendra Singh Chaisir found the gun while patrolling the forest where Yarsagumba is collected. The hunter who went to the conservation area in order to hunt wild animals as well as collect yarsagumba threw the gun and fled the area on seeing the police officers. Inspector Chaisir informed that they were not able to arrest the perpetrator since he slipped down the snowy slopes and fled.
