Police have arrested Akash Sahani,19 of Janakpur sub-Metropolis-24, Amar Shah,20 of the same Metropolis-23, Firoz Rain,18, and Rajesh Shah of Gaushala Municipality-7 of Mahottari on the charge of gang-raping a 35-year-old woman on May 22. The locals had informed the police after witnessing the gang rape. Police have arrested four of the accused however two of them are still at large. The victim’s party had lodged a complaint at District Police Office on May 23 according to DSP Nakul Pokhrel. The victim had undergone a medical check-up on May 22 at Janakpur Zonal Hospital.
