The District Court of Siraha has ordered to sentence Ram Brikchya Chaudhary,27 of Gadhimai Municipality-4 for eight years along with a compensation of Rs 50,000 on the charge of raping a girl. A single bench of District Court judge Rajendra Adhikari has given his verdict in the case. The other two associates Bindu Yadav,45 of Mirchaiya Municipality-5, and Sunita B.K,21 of Dudhauli Municipality of Sindhuli has been sentenced for 6 years each. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at District police office on 2015, on December 21 on the charge of raping a girl on December 17. The other two associates helped the accused while raping a girl. The victim underwent a health checkup at the District hospital of Siraha on December 21. Accused Ram Brichhya and Sunita were arrested on December 22. The District Court had ordered to remand them in custody.
