The District Court of Palpa has sentence 21-year-old Ganesh Thapa of KusumeKhola VDC-8 to five years in jail on June 22 on the charges of raping a 32-years-old woman. A single bench of district court judge Dilli Raman Tiwari has given his verdict regarding the case. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at DPO on December 1, 2015, accusing him of raping a woman on November 27. The accused was arrested by the police on December 2 based on a complaint lodged.
