The District Court of Arghakhanchi has ordered a life-sentence to 26-year-old Tuk Bahadur Darji on the charges of murdering his 22-year-old wife Sushila Darji of Siddara VDC-4. A single bench of District Court judge Keshav Prasad Bastola has given a verdict based on enough proof that the victim was murdered by Tuk bahadur Darji. Tuk Bahadur severely physically assaulted his wife on April 12 and hanged her to death after taking her to the jungle according to the complaint lodged by the victim’s family on April 24. The accused was arrested for investigation by the police based on the complaint lodged. The post-mortem of the body was done at the District Hospital of Sandhikharka.
