Police have arrested a 20-years-old Prem Rai from Soyak VDC-1 on July 28 on the charge of raping a 13-years-old girl. The accused was arrested by the police after the victim’s family had lodged a complaint against the accused on July 19 on the charge of raping a girl on July 14. Inspector Rudra Chudal of District Police Office said that the absconding accused was arrested on July 28 from Jhapa. The victim underwent a health check-up at District Hospital on July 18.
