The District Court of Kaski has ordered to sentence Kabi Raj Acharya,38 of Pokhara Sub-metropolis-8, Simalchaur for 21 years on August 8 after finding him guilty on raping a 13-years-old girl. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint on March 11 at the District Police Office of Kaski on the charge of multiple rapes on a girl. The accused relative was arrested by the police based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother on March 13 and was remanded in custody by court order on April 8. The court has also ordered to compensate Rs 150,000 to the victim according to the information officer Khum Prasad Bhandari of District Court.
