Police on Tuesday arrested a person accused of raping and robbing an elderly woman on August 5 in the evening. The arrested has been identified as Jhak Bahadur Rana Jiti, 35yrs, resident of Tribeni VDC-7 in Parbat, informed inspector Uttam Prakash Baral. According to inspector Baral, the accused had reportedly robbed the woman of her Tilahari necklace after raping her in the field where she was working. Police has initiated investigation into the incident by prosecuting Jhak Bahadur under rape and theft Acts. ६० वर्षकी एक वृद्धालाई बलात्कार गरेर फरार भएका पर्वत त्रिवेणी गाविस–७ का झकबहादुर राना जिटीलाई वडा प्रहरी कार्यालय वालिङको टोलीले पक्राउ गरेको छ । प्रहरी निरीक्षक उत्तमप्रकाश बरालका अनुसार पर्वतको त्रिवेणी गाविस–७ बस्ने ३५ वर्षका झकबहादुरलाई मंगलबार पक्राउ गरिएको हो । मकैबारीमा काम गरिरहेकी वृद्धालाई झकबहादुरले बलात्कार गरेर वृद्धाले लगाएको तिलहरी र अन्य गहना चोरी गरेका प्रहरी निरीक्षक बरालले बताउनुभयो । फरार रहेको झकबहादुरलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरी जिल्ला अदालतमा जबर्जस्ती करणी तथा चोरी मुद्दामा म्याद थप गरी कारबाही अगाडी बढाएको छ । झकबहादुरले यही साउन २१ गते बेलुका ६ बजेतिर ती वृद्धाको बलात्कार गरेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।
