Three young men were caught with a pistol and 85 rounds of the bullet at Nawalparasi when police searched a motorcycle that was in their possession on Saturday. Police had originally approached the three men—Sunil Kamkar, Santosh Kamkar, and Ashok Kushwaha—after a complaint of eve-teasing. Upon suspicion, police searched their motorcycle with the Indian registration number. A pistol and bullets were found hidden under the seat of the motorcycle, according to Police Inspector Shrawan Upadhyay of Beltari Area Police Office. The three men admitted during interrogation that they had bought the firearm and the bullets at Itaiya Bazaar in India.
