Netra Bikram Chand led maoist staged protest on Monday in Dhangadhi demanding Right to food. Citing that the citizens were being deprived of their right to food with the increase in the prices of food grains and other basic needs the party had decided to protest. Addressing a mass gathering convened after the demonstration, central committee member R.P Timilsena of the party, said the government had been doing injustice by increasing price of food grains and other basic needs rather then giving relief to the citizens. Addressing the same mass, Consumer Rights Protection Forum, Kailali Chairman Hari Regmi said the government officials were not doing their job properly in monitoring the market. As planned, the party also conducted similar protest program in Tikapur. नेत्रबिक्रम चन्द निकट बिप्लव (माओबादी)ले खाध्य अधिकार ग्यारेन्टीको माग गर्दै सोमबार धनगढीमा प्रदर्सन गरेको छ। आम जनताहरु महंगीको मारमा पर्दै गैरहेको र खाध्य अधिकार बाट बन्चित भएको ठोकुवा गर्दै प्रदर्सन गरेको बिप्लव (माओबादीले)बताएको छ । प्रदर्शन पछि एलएन चोकमा आयोजित कोणसभालाई सम्बोधन गर्दै नेकपा (माओबादी) का केन्द्रिय सदस्य आर.पी तिमिल्सेनाले जनतालाई राहत दिनुको साटो सरकारले उल्टै मुल्यबृद्धि गरेर अन्याय गरेको बताए । माओबादी जंगल पसेर हैन जनताको अधिकारका लागि सहरमै बसेर संघर्स गर्नुपर्ने उनले बताए । त्यस्तै सभालाई सम्बोधन गर्दै उपभोक्ता हित संरक्षण मंच कैलालीका अधक्ष्य हरि रेग्मीले बजार अनुगमनका नाममा सरकारी अधिकारीले तलब पचाउने काम मात्र गरेको उदघोष गरे । त्यस्तै माओबादीले खाध्य अधिकारको माग गर्दै टिकापुरमा पनि प्रदर्शन गरेको थियो ।
